This role sits at the intersection of AI, quantum computing, and sustainable innovation, where you'll shape our 10-year technology roadmap while solving humanity's most pressing challenges.
As a key member of our C-suite innovation council, you'll lead cross-functional initiatives that position us as industry pioneers. Your strategic insights will directly influence $500M+ R&D investments, and you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and MIT fellows to incubate breakthrough technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy spanning AI ethics, quantum adoption, and climate-tech integration
- Lead research initiatives into emerging fields including synthetic biology, neuro interfaces, and decentralized autonomous organizations
- Establish strategic partnerships with NASA, DARPA, and leading academic institutions for co-innovation
- Present quarterly technology roadmaps to the board with ROI projections and risk assessments
- Mentor a team of 15+ futurists and technologists while fostering an innovation-first culture
- Author industry-defining whitepapers on technology's societal impact by 2030
- Oversee a $20M annual innovation fund for moonshot projects
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years at executive level (CTO/CIO/Chief Futurist)
- Proven track record of scaling emerging technologies from concept to commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least 3 of these domains: quantum computing, AI governance, climate-tech, or biotechnology
- Published thought leadership in MIT Tech Review, Nature, or equivalent tier
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting for 10+ year horizons
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology with peer-reviewed publications
- Fluency in Mandarin, German, or Japanese for global stakeholder engagement
