Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and synthetic biology applications
- Lead R&D initiatives with $10M+ annual budgets and 15+ cross-functional teams
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and DARPA
- Present quarterly tech briefings to C-suite and board members
- Drive commercialization of 3+ breakthrough technologies annually
- Mentor a team of 5 senior researchers and innovation specialists
- Secure $5M+ in government and private innovation grants
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Biotechnology with 8+ years in R&D leadership
- Proven track record commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/bio)
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation grants or venture funding
- Published research in Nature, Science, or IEEE journals
- Expertise in technology forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Strong network with global research institutions and VC firms
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for international partnerships
