Responsibilities
- Architect and execute a 2026 technology foresight strategy, identifying high-impact innovations in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Develop patent roadmaps and intellectual property strategies for emerging technologies
- Analyze global tech trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory shifts to inform strategic decisions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and secure cross-functional buy-in
- Mentor innovation teams and foster a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or corporate innovation with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum systems, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products or services with $100M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario-planning skills with fluency in strategic foresight methodologies
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and managing global innovation teams
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry forums
