Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technology Roadmap: Develop a comprehensive 3-year strategic plan that aligns business objectives with emerging tech trends, specifically targeting the capabilities expected by 2026.
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Spearhead research into next-generation AI models, quantum computing applications, and advanced predictive analytics tools.
- Future-Proofing Architecture: Audit current enterprise systems to ensure scalability and resilience against the tech disruptions anticipated in 2026.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present complex futuristic concepts to non-technical stakeholders, translating abstract 2026 visions into actionable business strategies.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor global tech ecosystems to identify disruptive technologies that could redefine our industry by 2026.
- Talent & Culture: Recruit and mentor a high-performing team of futurists and engineers dedicated to the 2026 vision.
Qualifications
- Strategic Vision: 10+ years of experience in strategic technology planning, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environment.
- Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of AI, machine learning, and blockchain technologies, with a specific focus on their projected evolution by 2026.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Forward-Thinking Mindset: Proven track record of identifying and capitalizing on emerging market trends years before they become mainstream.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical strategies to diverse audiences, including investors and operational teams.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous problems and navigate uncertainty in rapidly changing environments.
