Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, AR/VR, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype next-gen user interfaces and experiences
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Architect scalable systems for IoT security and data sovereignty in post-2025 ecosystems
- Partner with sustainability teams to develop carbon-negative tech solutions
- Mentor junior strategists in future-focused methodologies and ethical tech frameworks
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-backed recommendations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic engineering, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of launching products with >$100M market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech publications
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and futures forecasting methodologies
- Experience managing budgets >$50M for R&D initiatives
- Deep understanding of global tech policy landscapes and ethical frameworks
