Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap for emerging sectors (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neural interfaces)
- Analyze global tech trends, patent landscapes, and academic breakthroughs to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping teams to validate next-gen concepts
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board of directors with data-driven insights
- Establish partnerships with leading research institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich)
- Design ethical frameworks for emerging technologies ensuring responsible innovation
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with 5+ in future-tech planning
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neural interfaces
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- C-suite presentation experience with executive communication mastery
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals
