Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) for strategic implementation opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to foster innovation and align stakeholders on tech priorities
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis and identify first-mover advantages in emerging domains
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage technology incubation projects from ideation to pilot phase
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech development
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced materials science
- Proven track record of launching innovative products or services
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical data
- Excellent communication skills for executive presentations and stakeholder alignment
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic forecasting methodologies
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio of technology strategy projects or patents
