Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum AI, neuromorphic chips, carbon-negative computing)
- Partner with C-suite to integrate strategic tech initiatives into business growth plans
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for 2026+ market landscapes
- Manage innovation sprints with engineering teams to prototype future solutions
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members quarterly
- Drive sustainable tech initiatives to achieve net-zero operational targets
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven experience with future-casting methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi analysis)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech, or biotech
- Track record of launching tech products with 3+ year market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech ROI and market sizing
- Certifications in futures thinking (e.g., CFTE, Foresight Practitioner)
