Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging tech solutions (AI, quantum, bioinformatics)
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies and assess competitive implications
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investor boards
- Manage innovation lab budgets and vendor partnerships for next-gen infrastructure
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends and market impacts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching tech-forward products/services with $10M+ revenue impact
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar advanced credential preferred
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
