Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology strategy aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present strategic vision to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory shifts affecting innovation landscapes
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate future tech talent
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning or innovation leadership roles
- Proven track record of launching future-focused tech initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Executive communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS Engineering, or equivalent)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major tech innovation contributions
- Global tech ecosystem understanding with network of industry contacts
