Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligning with market forecasts and organizational vision
- Lead research initiatives in emerging domains including quantum computing, neurotech interfaces, and climate-tech AI
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and startups to accelerate breakthrough innovations
- Present technology roadmaps to executive leadership and board stakeholders securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Mentor a team of 8-10 specialists fostering a culture of experimental thinking and calculated risk-taking
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote speeches at global tech summits
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical frameworks impacting future tech deployment
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of launching commercialized technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum systems, advanced AI, or biotechnology
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from Tier-1 institution
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience securing $5M+ innovation budgets and managing cross-continental R&D teams
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
