Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps integrating AI ethics frameworks, quantum computing applications, and sustainable tech innovations
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions for autonomous systems, biotech interfaces, and climate tech
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential for 2026 markets
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present technology vision to C-suite executives and board of directors
- Manage $50M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy for future technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years in strategic technology leadership
- Proven track record launching at least two commercially successful future-tech products
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, AI ethics, or sustainable tech ecosystems
- Experience securing federal grants for advanced R&D (NSF, DARPA, DOE)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex technological adoption curves
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Certification in Technology Strategy (CTS) or equivalent
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, Rust, or Go preferred)
