Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps focusing on 2026+ innovations in AI, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate emerging technologies into scalable commercial products
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends and competitive threats in global tech ecosystems
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Build partnerships with research institutions and government bodies for collaborative R&D initiatives
- Mentor innovation teams in agile methodologies and future-proofing strategies
- Oversee patent portfolios and intellectual property protection for breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of launching commercialized technologies with $50M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or carbon-neutral tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- Certified in Technology Strategy (CTS) or Future Studies certification
- Demonstrated success securing $10M+ in R&D funding from government/private sources
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
