Our incubator has launched 12 breakthrough innovations since 2020, including the first carbon-neutral quantum processor. You'll collaborate with Nobel laureates, policy advisors, and startup founders in our state-of-the-art lab overlooking the Bay.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 innovation milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, climate tech)
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging tech trends and competitive landscapes
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies for C-suite stakeholders
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions, governments, and industry leaders
- Champion ethical frameworks and sustainability principles in all technological deployments
- Mentor junior innovators and cultivate a culture of radical experimentation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record in commercializing at least 2 breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, decentralized systems, or climate tech
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Published research or patents in future-facing technologies (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Certification in AI ethics or sustainable technology (e.g., IEEE P7000)
