- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Create frameworks for ethical technology deployment and governance
- Present future-vision briefings to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for experimental technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record launching at least two category-defining tech products
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Executive experience in managing R&D budgets exceeding $3M annually
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Experience advising C-suite on technological disruption and transformation
