Responsibilities
- Lead development of 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Analyze emerging tech trends (neural interfaces, synthetic biology, quantum encryption) for strategic adoption
- Collaborate with C-suite to align innovation initiatives with market disruption timelines
- Build partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and DARPA-funded projects
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen AI systems and human augmentation technologies
- Present future tech scenarios to investors and board members with data-driven projections
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Foresight' task force with R&D, product, and legal teams
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering with 10+ years tech strategy experience
- Proven track record in scaling AI/quantum startups or leading R&D at FAANG companies
- Deep expertise in neural networks, quantum algorithms, and CRISPR applications
- Published research in Nature/Science on future tech implications or equivalent industry impact
- Expertise in ethical AI frameworks and regulatory compliance for emerging tech
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and patent strategy for disruptive innovations
- Experience securing $50M+ in future-tech focused venture capital or government grants
