Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps integrating emerging trends (AI, quantum, bio-convergence)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and product teams
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies through market analysis and patent research
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and venture capital firms
- Drive adoption of futuristic technologies in existing product ecosystems
- Mentor junior strategists in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with proven future-tech impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Experience presenting to executive boards and investor groups
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (patents, papers, keynotes)
- Fluency in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
