Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Vision: Spearhead the strategic technical roadmap for the next major product cycle, identifying emerging technologies and integration opportunities.
- Architecture & Design: Lead the end-to-end architectural design of complex, high-performance systems, ensuring scalability, security, and resilience.
- Talent Development: Mentor and cultivate a world-class engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with product management, design, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- R&D Leadership: Drive Proof-of-Concept (PoC) initiatives for experimental technologies, assessing viability and risk before full-scale implementation.
- Process Optimization: Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies to accelerate delivery velocity.
- Stakeholder Communication: Articulate complex technical concepts and architectural decisions to executive leadership and non-technical audiences effectively.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering or architecture, with at least 3 years in a lead or technical management capacity.
- Roadmap Expertise: Proven track record of leading technical roadmaps for major product releases and managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP), microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Programming: Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Go, or Rust.
- Emerging Tech: Experience with AI/ML integration, edge computing, or quantum computing concepts is highly desirable.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to hire, train, and retain top engineering talent in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
