Job Description
Are you ready to architect the future of computing?
At Nexus Horizon, we are not just building software for today; we are engineering the foundational infrastructure for the Year 2026 and beyond. We are seeking a visionary Future Systems Architect to lead our Quantum-AI integration team. In this high-impact role, you will define the technical roadmap that bridges the gap between current neural networks and tomorrow's sentient computing systems.
Join us in shaping a world where technology seamlessly integrates with human potential. You will work in a dynamic environment that prioritizes innovation, ethical AI development, and scalable solutions for global challenges.
Responsibilities
- Architect Next-Gen Systems: Design and implement scalable, high-performance architecture for AI-driven applications and quantum computing prototypes.
- Lead 2026 Roadmap: Define the technical vision and strategic milestones for our Year 2026 product releases, ensuring feasibility and innovation.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, and product managers to translate complex concepts into actionable technical strategies.
- Optimize Neural Interfaces: Lead initiatives to optimize real-time data processing for brain-computer interface (BCI) technologies.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Establish rigorous engineering standards, conduct high-level code reviews, and mentor junior architects and developers.
- Future-Proofing: Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., Neuromorphic chips, edge computing) and integrate them into our core infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years leading teams in AI, Machine Learning, or Quantum Computing.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, Rust, and C++; experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to think 5-10 years ahead and define long-term technical roadmaps.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with a proven track record of solving complex, ambiguous engineering problems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
