Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year strategic vision for emerging technology verticals (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive trends and paradigm shifts
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for global market transformations
- Partner with C-suite to align strategic initiatives with organizational growth objectives
- Champion innovation through cross-functional workshops and stakeholder engagement
- Produce high-impact strategic briefings for board and investor communications
- Oversee portfolio of moonshot projects with $50M+ annual R&D budget
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic planning, futures research, or innovation management
- Proven track record of developing successful long-term roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Exceptional data synthesis and trend analysis capabilities
- Advanced degree in strategic foresight, business, or STEM field
- Experience leading cross-functional teams of 50+ professionals
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or similar methodology preferred
