- Troubleshoot & Resolve: Provide first-level technical support for hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and network connectivity.
- User Assistance: Deliver exceptional customer service by guiding end-users through technical problems and implementing solutions efficiently.
- System Maintenance: Assist in the daily maintenance of IT systems, ensuring all software updates and security patches are applied correctly.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of technical issues, resolutions, and user interactions in our ticketing system.
- Hardware Setup: Support the deployment of new workstations and peripherals, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
- Experience: No prior IT experience required; we value attitude and aptitude over history.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy (Windows and Mac OS) and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Proactive approach to identifying issues and a logical mindset for troubleshooting.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time hours, including occasional weekends or evenings as needed.
