Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and remote access for hardware/software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop systems and peripherals
- Document all IT activities using our ticketing system and knowledge base
- Collaborate with senior technicians to resolve complex technical problems
- Assist with network administration tasks including security updates and user management
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation (1 week per month)
- Conduct regular system audits and preventative maintenance
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS, networking fundamentals, and security protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with customer service focus
- CompTIA A+ certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional on-site visits
- Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings/weekends
