Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware/software issues via phone, email, and remote assistance
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Document all support cases and maintain accurate knowledge base entries
- Collaborate with senior technicians to resolve complex system problems
- Assist with network monitoring and basic security protocols
- Train end-users on new technology implementations
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation (1-2 nights/month)
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent experience
- Basic knowledge of Windows/macOS operating systems
- Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities with customer service mindset
- Ability to lift 30 lbs for equipment handling
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license for occasional client site visits
