Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care during 911 calls and patient transports
- Operate advanced life support equipment under protocols
- Document patient care accurately and maintain medical records
- Collaborate with hospital staff for seamless patient handoffs
- Perform vehicle maintenance and equipment checks
- Participate in community outreach and training programs
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Current Texas EMT-Basic or Paramedic certification
- Minimum 1 year field experience in emergency services
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 250+ pounds and work in high-stress environments
- Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Spanish fluency highly preferred
