Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care and transport to patients in critical conditions
- Assess patient situations and administer appropriate medical interventions
- Operate emergency vehicles safely and efficiently
- Maintain detailed patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with hospital staff for seamless patient handoffs
- Perform equipment maintenance and quality checks
- Participate in continuous training and certification updates
Qualifications
- Current Kansas EMT-Basic or EMT-Paramedic certification
- BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong decision-making under high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Minimum 1 year field experience preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
