Responsibilities
- Provide rapid assessment and critical care for emergency patients
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Stabilize trauma patients and respond to code blue situations
- Educate patients and families on discharge instructions
- Adhere to OSHA and hospital safety regulations
Qualifications
- Current Florida RN license (required)
- BSN degree (ADN accepted with 3+ years ED experience)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current)
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
