Job Description
We are looking for a forward-thinking Director of Future Strategy to spearhead our organization's trajectory toward the year 2026. In this high-impact role, you will act as the bridge between current operational excellence and our long-term visionary goals. You will be responsible for identifying emerging trends, technological advancements, and market shifts that will define the landscape of 2026, ensuring Apex Horizon Group remains a market leader.
You will lead cross-functional teams in the design and execution of our 2026 strategic roadmap, working closely with C-suite executives to allocate resources and define KPIs that measure success years in advance.
Responsibilities
- Architect the 2026 Roadmap: Define the comprehensive strategic vision and product roadmap for the year 2026, aligning short-term initiatives with long-term objectives.
- Trend Forecasting: Conduct deep-dive analysis on industry trends, competitor movements, and technological disruptions to identify high-value opportunities.
- Stakeholder Leadership: Present complex strategic concepts to the board of directors and executive team, securing buy-in for bold initiatives.
- Innovation Management: Foster a culture of innovation by managing R&D initiatives and pilot programs designed to test 2026-ready technologies.
- Resource Allocation: Collaborate with finance and operations to allocate budget and talent toward priority strategic initiatives.
- Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to track the progress of the 2026 strategy.
Qualifications
- Strategic Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in strategic planning, product management, or management consulting.
- Future-Oriented Mindset: Demonstrated ability to think critically about the future, with a proven track record of forecasting market trends and technological shifts.
- Leadership Skills: Strong executive presence and the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of emerging technologies (AI, Blockchain, IoT) and how they impact business models in the future.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
