Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts to load and unload shipments from delivery trucks and trailers.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, and put away inventory stock according to company guidelines and safety protocols.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling, sealing, and documentation.
- Quality Control: Conduct routine quality checks on incoming and outgoing inventory to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report any issues to supervisors immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Demonstrated history of punctuality and consistent attendance in previous roles.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- License: Valid driver's license (not required but a plus for some positions).
