Responsibilities
- Lead research in quantum-enhanced neural networks and explainable AI
- Design novel algorithms for unsupervised learning on multi-modal datasets
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize AI models for quantum processors
- Develop ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually
- Partner with product teams to translate research into commercial applications
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Computing, or Machine Learning (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of industry experience in cutting-edge AI research
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and quantum programming frameworks
- Publication record in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR)
- Deep understanding of transformer architectures and diffusion models
- Experience with large-scale distributed computing on AWS/GCP
- Strong background in information theory and statistical learning
- Passion for ethical AI development and transparent systems
