Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Conduct risk assessments for AI deployment in high-stakes environments
- Lead cross-functional working groups on algorithmic fairness and transparency
- Advise product teams on ethical design principles throughout development cycles
- Author white papers and policy recommendations for regulatory bodies
- Monitor emerging AI ethics legislation and adjust strategies proactively
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI ethics, responsible AI, or policy development
- Expertise in NIST AI RMF and EU AI Act frameworks
- Experience with bias mitigation techniques in machine learning systems
- Proven ability to translate complex ethics concepts for technical teams
- Published work in AI ethics or technology policy (preferred)
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., CAG, CSEP)
