- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards in AI algorithms and data pipelines
- Lead stakeholder engagement including policymakers, industry consortia, and community groups
- Establish governance protocols for AI auditing, bias mitigation, and transparency reporting
- Drive corporate policy evolution addressing emerging ethical challenges in generative AI
- Mentor cross-functional teams on responsible AI principles and implementation strategies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, Law, or related field with 5+ years AI governance experience
- Deep expertise in AI ethics frameworks and regulatory landscapes (US/EU)
- Proven track record of implementing ethical AI practices in production environments
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex ethical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with bias detection tools and algorithmic transparency methodologies
- Published work or thought leadership in AI ethics, responsible innovation, or tech policy
- Strong understanding of machine learning systems and their societal implications
- Certification in AI ethics governance (e.g., IEEE, EIT Digital) preferred
