Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical governance frameworks for AI systems deployed in healthcare and autonomous sectors
- Lead cross-functional audits of machine learning models using adversarial testing and fairness metrics
- Design human-AI interaction protocols ensuring accountability in high-stakes decision-making
- Advocate for ethical AI principles through white papers, industry forums, and regulatory consultations
- Mentor interdisciplinary teams in ethical design thinking and responsible innovation practices
- Monitor emerging risks from quantum AI and neuromorphic computing applications
- Establish stakeholder dialogues between developers, ethicists, and affected communities
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent experience in AI Ethics, Philosophy of Technology, or related field
- 5+ years developing ethical frameworks for deployed AI systems
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, NIST RMF, and emerging global regulations
- Proficiency in counterfactual fairness algorithms and explainable AI techniques
- Experience with neuro-symbolic AI and hybrid human-machine systems
- Published research on AI alignment or value alignment problems
- Strong background in applied ethics (utilitarianism, deontology, virtue ethics)
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
