Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end design, implementation, and maintenance of the global IT infrastructure supporting the 2026 World Cup.
- Manage critical network architecture, including 5G integration, Wi-Fi 6 deployment, and satellite communications.
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives to protect sensitive fan data, broadcast feeds, and operational networks from sophisticated threats.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key technology vendors and third-party logistics providers.
- Develop contingency plans for disaster recovery and crisis management during high-traffic events.
- Ensure seamless interoperability between legacy systems and modern cloud-based solutions.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering, or enterprise systems management.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects or events with high-stakes technical requirements.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and hybrid infrastructure solutions.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) and compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
