Key Objectives:
As the 2026 Roadmap Lead, your mission is to ensure Apex Future Systems is not just keeping up with trends, but setting them. You will lead cross-functional teams in the research and development of solutions that will be critical to our success in the coming years.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Forecasting: Conduct comprehensive market analysis and technology trend forecasting to identify emerging technologies relevant to our business by 2026.
- Roadmap Development: Design and maintain a robust, multi-year technology roadmap that aligns with business goals, budget constraints, and operational capabilities.
- Stakeholder Management: Translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies for C-suite executives and department heads.
- Feasibility Analysis: Evaluate the feasibility, cost-benefit, and risk of adopting new technologies (e.g., AI, Quantum Computing, Edge Computing) before implementation.
- Innovation Labs: Spearhead initiatives in internal innovation labs to prototype and test future-state concepts.
- Vendor Relations: Assess and manage relationships with technology partners and vendors to ensure we have access to the latest advancements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in strategic technology planning, IT management, or product management.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of current and upcoming technologies (Cloud, AI, Cybersecurity, IoT) with the ability to grasp complex technical architectures.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives from conception to execution.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex strategies to diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Future-Oriented Mindset: Demonstrated ability to think long-term and adapt strategies in a rapidly evolving tech landscape.
