Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 3-year technology foresight roadmap for 2026 product ecosystem
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives identifying emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, neuromorphic systems)
- Design future-proof architectures incorporating next-gen security protocols and sustainability frameworks
- Coordinate with R&D teams to prototype 2026-relevant innovations
- Present strategic technology briefs to C-suite and board members
- Mentor junior futurists and establish cross-departmental innovation workflows
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting tech deployment timelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism/innovation roles
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products (2019-2025)
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (e.g., AGI, quantum, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Published research in peer-reviewed innovation journals
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
