Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AGI, neuromorphic computing) for competitive advantage
- Lead R&D initiatives in sustainable tech and climate-resilient infrastructure
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate future-proof strategies into corporate vision
- Present foresight analyses to investors, partners, and regulatory bodies
- Build and mentor a team of futurist researchers and technology architects
- Secure partnerships with leading academic institutions and national labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or futurist research
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization (AI/blockchain/quantum)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Deep understanding of geopolitical tech policy and ethical frameworks
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry forums
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Technology Assessment preferred
