Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology roadmap, identifying emerging trends, disruptive innovations, and market disruptors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future tech insights into actionable business strategies
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence, and metaverse ecosystems
- Author thought leadership reports and white papers positioning NextGen as a 2026 technology pioneer
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready technologies into development pipelines
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Present technology forecasts to executive leadership and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Published thought leader with demonstrated experience in scenario planning
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
