Responsibilities
- Architect and implement the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, identifying disruptive innovations in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Lead market analysis and competitive intelligence for emerging technologies with 5-10 year adoption horizons
- Develop go-to-market frameworks for next-gen technologies, including regulatory compliance and ethical frameworks
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate breakthrough technologies with commercial potential
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive leadership with data-driven impact assessments
- Establish innovation partnerships with leading universities, government labs, and global tech consortiums
- Mentor a cross-functional team of futurists, data scientists, and technology architects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to articulate complex futures scenarios
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting (Harvard Business Review, MIT Tech Review, etc.)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Impact Assessment preferred
