Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps focusing on quantum computing applications and AI governance
- Lead workshops with stakeholders to identify future tech needs and ethical considerations
- Research and prototype emerging technologies including neuromorphic chips and decentralized AI networks
- Author thought leadership papers on the societal impact of 2026 technology trends
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future-tech capabilities into commercial offerings
- Mentor junior futurists and build a network of industry experts across global innovation hubs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, neural interfaces, or AI ethics frameworks
- Proven track record of publishing forward-looking tech research
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong background in cross-functional team leadership and stakeholder management
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 future-tech implementation projects
