Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps forecasting AI/ML, quantum computing, and blockchain integration
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical vision with business strategy
- Produce actionable trend reports and scenario analyses for executive decision-making
- Champion innovation culture by evaluating and piloting emerging technologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Mentor technology teams in future-proofing methodologies and agile innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record developing 5-10 year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum computing, Web3
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar foresight certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven trend analysis experience
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating technology forecasting projects or published research
