Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of proprietary carbon tracking AI systems using machine learning algorithms
- Architect decentralized energy grids integrating blockchain for transparent resource allocation
- Oversee lifecycle analysis of circular economy technologies from cradle-to-cradle
- Partner with UN Global Compact initiatives to align with 2030 sustainability targets
- Present quarterly innovation roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ R&D budget for next-gen renewable energy storage solutions
- Mentor 6-person sustainability engineering team through agile methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Systems, or related field
- 8+ years experience in climate tech with 3+ in leadership roles
- Expertise in carbon accounting protocols (GHG Protocol, ISO 14064)
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and IoT sensor integration
- Proven track record scaling SaaS sustainability platforms to 1M+ users
- Published research in renewable energy or circular economy systems
- Professional certifications in LEED, BREEAM, or similar frameworks
- Experience securing DOE or EPA innovation grants
