Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping 2026-era technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, bio-integrated systems)
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligning with emerging regulatory landscapes and ethical frameworks
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies for cutting-edge research
- Translate theoretical breakthroughs into scalable commercial applications
- Champion diversity and inclusion in technology development processes
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Monitor global tech trends to preempt market disruptions
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- 5+ years leading R&D initiatives in quantum computing or AI ethics
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier journals
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technology curves (Moore's Law, Wirth's Law)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (ACF or CSF preferred)
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) or venture capital for moonshot projects
