Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting our industry through 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for long-term business resilience
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to integrate future-focused innovations into product roadmaps
- Deliver executive briefings and thought leadership content on future technology implications
- Establish cross-functional innovation ecosystems and partnerships with academic institutions and startups
- Quantify future market opportunities and risks using predictive analytics and modeling
- Lead organizational change initiatives to prepare for technological and workforce transformations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Proven ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills with executive audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (articles, books, reports)
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., CFrA) preferred
