Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies, market trends, and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive strategic foresight framework for the organization
- Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate future scenarios into long-term business strategy
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and scenario-planning documents for stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with research institutions, think tanks, and innovation labs
- Mentor cross-functional teams in strategic foresight methodologies
- Present findings to C-suite and board members through compelling visual narratives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism role
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Experience with futures research methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, etc.)
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic roadmaps
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and lead cross-functional initiatives
