Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and disruptive market forces through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for product development and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable roadmaps
- Build predictive models using AI-driven analytics and big data visualization tools
- Present foresight findings to C-suite executives and board members with compelling narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to track breakthrough innovations
- Author thought leadership publications on long-term technological and societal trends
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in strategic planning, trend analysis, or futurist consulting
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies and systems thinking frameworks
- Proven track record of developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Mastery of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive analytics platforms
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, nanotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts into executive strategies
