Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in designing and implementing quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Develop error-correction protocols and quantum optimization frameworks for 2026-era systems
- Secure $10M+ in research funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor quantum PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers
- Partner with Intel, IBM, and Google on quantum hardware integration
- Architect quantum security frameworks for next-gen communications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 8+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum error correction
- Track record of securing federal research grants
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience leading international quantum research consortia
