Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for machine learning and cryptography

- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Publish findings in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Advise C-suite executives on quantum adoption roadmaps
- Develop quantum security protocols for blockchain applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum research experience with published papers
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit simulation
- Track record of securing federal research grants
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in complex algorithm design
- US citizenship required for government collaboration
