Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in quantum software development
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards for 2026 infrastructure
- Research and implement quantum-classical hybrid computing architectures
- Present breakthrough findings at industry conferences including IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum algorithms or error correction
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit design frameworks
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM/D-Wave/Rigetti)
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence mitigation
