Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum architectures for 2026-era quantum processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists and software engineers
- Create quantum security protocols resistant to 2026-era cryptographic threats
- Optimize qubit coherence times and error correction mechanisms
- Architect quantum cloud infrastructure supporting 10,000+ qubit systems
- Publish research in top quantum computing journals and conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum processors or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in superconducting qubits, ion traps, or topological quantum systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Publication record in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience leading quantum hardware development teams
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
