Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI/quantum/biotech solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Translate technical capabilities into scalable business models and go-to-market strategies
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation portfolio with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and external investment committees
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Innovation
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology adoption lifecycle management
- Strong financial modeling skills for innovation portfolio valuation
- Published thought leadership in future tech or innovation management
- Proficiency in innovation frameworks (e.g., TRIZ, Blue Ocean Strategy)
- Security clearance or ability to obtain for classified projects
